Tucson General Election November 2, 1999
This is an election for Mayor and Council Wards 1, 2 & 4. Here Tucson elected a new mayor, raised the salaries of Mayor and Council and approved funding for the "Rio Nuevo Project" that would divert state funding into an enterprize district residing mostly downtown.
